from the wiki “Mobile Task Force Beta-7 specializes in the acquisition and containment of anomalies exhibiting extreme biological, chemical, or radiological hazards as well as the rapid containment and cleanup of areas affected by such anomalies.
Chi-7 deals with microbiology (bacteria/viruses) and biological hazards. To illustrate the difference using real world examples imagine it like this: Beta-7 would be deployed to help clean up Chernobyl after the reactor exploded as opposed to Chi-7 who would be deployed somewhere like Botswana to help mitigate the Ebola outbreak.

Beta-7 Maz Hatters are the MTF units that are called during a 008 or 610 outbreak like in Operation Camp Granada and are sent to other stuff like SCP-016 and others I dont really know much about this MTF unit all I know is that they wear hazmat suits and go in missions with chemical and biological stuff like the epidemiologists with guns EDIT: MTF-BETA-7 GDrive Album (No Desktop Resolution yet.)
